Hello Everyone... were back!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Well we are back here, for now at least (I will try harder). I apologize for the long break since I have posted. It has been very busy here for the Kenyon household. We are all doing well, but things are moving very fast now. It has been more than one year since we got here now actually.
So what has been going on for us you ask…. well let’s see…

I started a 4 month contract working at 2 Japanese Junior High Schools. One is really good, and one is not. At the later school, an 8th grader is now in jail for beating up a teacher, and the classes are often out of control. At the other school, the kids are very well behaved and classes go pretty smoothly most of the time.

Joe and Miyabi have started going to school. They are doing well, and seem to like it. The school has a bus that picks them up at 9AM and drops them off at 3 or 3:30 in the afternoon. They should be starting swim school in the next few weeks, once we decide on the right school.

Shiho and Hanano are home together and having fun taking care of the house. They are pretty busy going to the parks in the neighborhood as well. Once a week, they go to Joe and Miyabi’s school for a play group for younger kids. Shiho is also looking into some business ideas we can start in Japan. Shiho is working for company part time teaching English. Her last job was teaching English to a boy that was going to New Zealand for a month, and helping a girl with her speech contest.

Rainy season is going to start here soon, so we are getting ready for that.　It was humid and rained all day yesterday, but today it is nice and sunny. Once rainy season starts, it will be very hot and humid, and raining everyday until summer. Then it will just be hot and humid… well then fall will come and things will be great until winter.
