Happy New Years to you all! Well This seems to be my first post for 2008, and at least I got to it before the end of January, and with a few days to spare I would like to point out. (*8
Well we spent most of December in CA and AZ, and it was great seeing everyone. (If we did not see you, we wanted to.;) It actually was very busy and we had a lot to fit in with the travel, holidays and getting used to the time difference.
The first weekend in CA I actually got my CA motorcycle license and International license taken care of. Now I just need to take the Japanese M/C test a few dozen more times to get a passing result. Well I can drive on my IDL until May anyways.
The trip back was pretty easy. The kids got a portable DVD player for Christmas, and they watched it most of the way, but the battery went dead a few hours before we landed, so we had just conversation for the second flight.
The first flight was actually 1 hour late, so we would have missed the flight to Fukuoka, but that flight was and hour late as well. We had good luck there. When we got home and had the kids ready for bed, they had been up for more than 24 hours. They both got a 1-2 hour nap on the plane, but we are really proud of how wonderful they did. (Okay, now I sound like a parent I guess.)
